Sugarcraft '97 is over, I hope those of you who managed to visit Telford enjoyed the Exhibition, personally I thought it was great.
Cheltenham Branch were lucky to be awarded a Silver award in the Group Project , even though it was our first attempt. Thank You to everyone who commented on our table at the exhibition. On our Branch Table we were awarded the trophy for Most Artistic Exhibit in Show for a two tier Sugarpaste Golden Wedding Cake by Ellen Buckingham. I was lucky enough to be awarded a Bronze for an Open Marzipan Model and a Commended for an Open Miniature Plaque. Rachel Creber was awarded a Highly Commended for an Open Miniature Model. We had a very successful Exhibition.
We will have to wait another four years until the next show! I would like to say a huge Thank You to Angie Holmes and the Organising Committee for all their hard work in putting on such a magnificent event, and to everyone else who took part in making the event such a success. I would love to hear your comments on the event.
